Our proven process quickly removes moisture from failed windows and doors, recovers insulating R-Value and protects against permanent damage without replacing the glass or ripping out the sash. It will also recover insulating properties of the unit.

Our process can significantly extend the service life of some windows and patio doors. We can eliminate the stresses on the seals and prevent the damaging cycle of deterioration that moisture brings.

Moisture diffusion into the internal space of insulated glass (IG) units is almost unavoidable. The humidity not only impairs aesthetics and view, but also limits thermal functionality of the units and launches a cycle of organic and chemical leaching from the glass and other window components. Apex certified technicians assess sealed units and can either restore or replace failed windows. With restoration, the technicians enter and clean the space between the panes of glass, and effectively re-engineer windows by applying a specialized Defogger^® valve, so that moisture in windows is expelled naturally, and the conditions that caused moisture to penetrate the unit in the first place are eliminated. With all moisture removed, the window is clear again, and has a significantly enhanced energy performance as well. The service comes with a 20-year warranty. The evaluation is free.
